NDP limits its requests for information to what is required to ensure effective delivery of services. Most of the information we collect is very basic and is needed to complete a purchase or provide a refund. Examples of user information that may be collected may include your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, credit-or debit-card information, a description of the item requested or purchased and the IP address of your computer. In the case of the Betachek App all data is stored on your mobile device unless you choose to store it on our servers.

Navigation Information

Even if you do not make a purchase on our site, we have the ability to track usage of our web site – including the server from which the site was visited. This information is not used to track information about individuals, but is used on an aggregate level to customize our site, improve the on-line experience and plan advertising and promotions.

Information Voluntarily Provided

There are times when you may provide information to us voluntarily. This occurs when you provide your feedback to us though e-mails, return forms, letters or telephone calls. We use this information to respond to your query and to keep track of customer feedback.

BETACHEK Diabetes Management App

The Betachek Diabetes Management can be downloaded from the Apple App store or the Google Play Store. Once installed on your device it has access to the Apple Health, Google Fit and Google Health apps. This allows reading and writing between those apps and the Betachek Diabetes Management App.

Data Collection and Usage
The Betachek Diabetes Management app collects glucose data from the user and interacts with Google Fit and Google Health apps. This data may include: Blood glucose readings collected through the app.
The purpose of collecting this data is to help users track and manage their diabetes more effectively. The app allows users to save their glucose data directly to Google Fit and Google Health for better integration with other health and fitness applications. This data is shared with these platforms to provide a comprehensive health monitoring experience.


Data Management and User Control

Users have full control over the data collected by the app. You can manage your data as follows:

Google Fit and Google Health Permissions: You can control or revoke access to your glucose data at any time by managing the app’s permissions in the Google Fit and Google Health settings.


Data Deletion

You can delete glucose data stored in Google Fit and Google Health at any time by navigating to those respective apps and using their built-in data deletion features.
Permission Revocation: Users can revoke the app’s access to Google Fit and Google Health at any time, which will prevent the app from reading or writing new data to these platforms.


Data Retention and Deletion

The glucose data collected by the app and stored in Google Fit and Google Health is managed according to the policies of those platforms. Users can request deletion or manage data retention settings directly through the respective Google Fit and Google Health apps. Betachek does not store your glucose data beyond the necessary time required for its transfer to these platforms.


User Rights and Data Security

Users can choose at any time to:
 Deny or remove the permissions that allow the app to write or read glucose data to/from Google Fit and Google Health.
 Delete their glucose data within Google Fit or Google Health using their respective settings.

Internet Database

NDP has created an Internet database to allow consumers to store their shipping and billing information, track the status of their order, list previous orders and retain email preferences. Registration is entirely voluntary and you have the ability to correct or delete the information at any time. This information is accessed through the "My Account" section of the site.

Marketing Information

NDP does not sell or otherwise share your personal information with anyone else, such as advertising agencies or marketing companies. We only send marketing information to those customers who specifically sign up an account with Betachek. Customers can opt-out of receiving information by contacting our Customer Service at [email protected] or by changing their preferences in the "My Account" section of the site.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

In case IP-anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IP address will be first transfered to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP-anonymisation is active on this website.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing them other services relating to website activity and internet usage. We do not collect Google user data

The IP-address, that your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. Disclosure and Retention of Personal Information

NDP will share your personal information internally with those staff members who need it to complete your purchase or carry out your instructions regarding the receipt of marketing information. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party without your written consent unless required to do so by law.

NDP keeps your personal information for only as long as required to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. In some cases, such as credit- or debit-card purchases, we are required by law to keep your personal information for a specified period of time. For those customers who have registered for the mailing list, their personal information is kept until we are notified that they no longer want their information stored. If you download the Betachek app and use it your data is stored on your mobile device and may be deleted at any time. If you choose to store the Betachek C50 app data on our servers you may delete this at any time.

Accuracy and Protection Of Personal Information

NDP relies on our customers to notify us of any changes in personal information. Should inaccurate information come to our attention, we will investigate and correct the information and, if necessary, advise you of the change. Only those staff members who need your personal information in order to respond to your requests are given access to it. Employees are provided with training and information regarding the proper handling of personal information. All information stored in our computer system is protected from unauthorized access and information that is stored in document form is kept in secure locations to prevent access by unauthorized persons. If you have any Betachek app related data on our servers this information is private and not shared with anyone.

Transaction Security

In order to make every effort to ensure that your experience at betachek.com is secure, we use encryption technology to protect you against the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. When you fill out any contact forms or access your account, a secure server encrypts all of your information through the use of Secure Socket Layers (SSLs). Your credit card payment is handled by the Stripe payments platform
